An Introduction to Cut Flowers

With Old Tavern Farm and Brookside Nursery

Discover the ins and outs of growing cut flowers, from seeding to selecting the best annuals, perennials and shrubs for our growing zone. Alisa will guide you through seasonal planning to ensure a continuous bloom cycle in your own backyard, and her tips and tricks for arranging.

This is a hands-on workshop where each attendee will plant a pre-sprouted dahlia tuber to take home and grow in their garden!

Attendees can also enjoy a complimentary drink from the Old Tavern Farm collection with additional drinks available for purchase.

Ticket price $35, includes all instruction, Old Tavern Farm Dahlia Tuber and Complimentary glass of wine. We encourage you to bring a notebook to jot down all of the amazing tips and tricks you will learn!

Classes and Workshops are priced per person and tickets cannot be shared. Classes and Workshops are non-refundable. In the case you cannot attend a friend is welcome to come in your place. If you would like to transfer your ticket to a friend, please email amurray@brooksidenursery.com with the subject line Ticket Transfer. In the email please first include your name and telephone and then the name, telephone number and email of who you will be giving your ticket(s) to.
