At Brookside, we believe plants bring people together.
Learn. Create. Gather. is more than a tagline — it’s the heart of our workshops and events. What began as our beloved Plant & Sip nights has grown into a vibrant lineup of hands-on experiences designed to inspire creativity, spark curiosity, and build community.
Our workshops are nature-driven, welcoming, and designed for all skill levels. Whether you’re brand new to plants or a seasoned hobbyist, our team guides you step-by-step through each project while sharing practical plant care knowledge you can take home with you.
Every class includes all materials needed to complete your project — just bring yourself (and maybe a friend). From creative plant builds to seasonal décor, kids’ workshops to specialty events, each gathering is rooted in fun and connection.

We’re proud to partner with talented members of our local community who bring their unique skills and specialties into the greenhouse. From artists and makers to educators and plant enthusiasts, we love creating space for others to teach, share, and inspire. By collaborating with local experts, we’re able to offer fresh, diverse experiences while supporting the creativity that makes our community thrive.
Beyond workshops, Brookside offers a thoughtfully curated selection of houseplants, succulents, air plants, pottery, gifts, and garden-inspired décor available in-store.

Our dedicated Event Greenhouse is now open — a warm, plant-filled space designed for connection and celebration.
Looking for a unique venue for your next gathering? The greenhouse is available for private rentals, including:

Event Policy
Tickets are non-refundable.
Registration is per person (one guest per registration). All registrations are final. If you’re unable to attend, you’re welcome to send a friend in your place! To transfer your ticket, please email amurray@brooksidenursery.com with the subject line Ticket Transfer. Include your name and phone number, along with the name, phone number, and email of the person receiving your ticket.
Seating Policy: To ensure you and your friends are seated together, please purchase your tickets at the same time, or call us at least 24 hours in advance of the event to let us know who should be seated together.
All events at Brookside are designed to be a fun, welcoming experience to enjoy with friends and family. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully while attending. Guests who are intoxicated or behaving inappropriately will be asked to leave without refund.
A quick note about photos: We love sharing the special moments that happen in our greenhouse! By attending, you understand that photos and short videos may be taken and shared on our social media, website, or other promotional materials. Your presence at the event indicates your consent to be included in this content.
